Art Bruneau, Executive Director NC SPA

Dr. Bruneau received his B.S. and M. S. degrees in Agronomy from the University of Rhode Island. He received his Ph.D. in Horticulture from the University of Nebraska. Prior to being appointed Turfgrass Extension Specialist at NCSU, Dr. Bruneau was employed by the O.M. Scott & Sons Co. in Marysville, Ohio. Dr. Bruneau currently has a teaching appointment. Dr. Bruneau currently teaches a turfgrass management course offered in the Professional Golf Management program. He has taught most of the turfgrass courses in the Agricultural Institute. In addition, he is the author and developer of many turfgrass extension publications such as the Turfgrass Pest Management Manual.

Mark Harris, President NC SPA

Mark will serve as association President from January 2012-January 2014. He has been employed by Sandhill Turf since 1998 and serving as General Manger since 2010.
